*If you already work in KC, just treat it like a regular work day at the office,then head downtown for the evening reception!

Intouch (re)Group

Thursday morning & afternoon

We’ll start with breakfast and a half-day of work at the pop-up office space in the KC Convention Center’s Grand Ballroom. Treat it like a regular day in the office, just not in the office. Check out the schedule below for more info about the day’s events.

*If you go to the KC office on Thursday, no one will be there. It will be considered closed. Meet up downtown!

Thursday Schedule

8:00 AM: Registration | The Grand Ballroom Lobby

  • Head straight to registration when you arrive. You’ll get a packet that includes a must-wear lanyard to access events. Yep, you have to wear it.

8:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Breakfast | the Grand Ballroom

  • Grab some breakfast and start the work day.

9:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Intouch Pop-Up Office | the Grand Ballroom

  • Meet up with your team and work until lunch.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch

  • Jack Stack (famous KC BBQ) will be provided for lunch — you might not want to wear white.

1:00 PM – 2:20 PM: Philanthropy Activity | Lobby 1500

  • There’ll be a variety of philanthropy activities to keep the feel-good feeling alive.

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Keynote with Faruk & Execs

  • There are a few surprises in store — you won’t want to miss out!

5:00 PM: Meeting Ends

  • Catch up on work or put on your party clothes!

After spending the day together as ONE Intouch, we’ll celebrate 20 years of awesome at the KC Live! Block — Kansas City’s top spot for music, food, and drinks — just steps away from the KC Convention Center.



6:00 PM: Intouch party at KC Live!

  • Get there on time for food, drink, and photo opps, starting at 6:00 PM.
    DJ Alex Reed will provide the cocktail-hour vibes.

7:00 PM: Welcome from Faruk

7:30 PM: headline Entertainment starts

10:00 PM: 20th anniversary celebration ends

Where will Out-of-town Intouchers stay?

Accommodations will be covered for out-of-town Intouchers only!

*Again: Out-of-town Intouchers — your hotel room will be booked for you as part of our room block. The hotel you stay in depends on when you RSVP. Please don’t book your own hotel room.

Who CAn attend?

All official Intouch employees from each office and remote locations are encouraged to attend (this excludes contractors).

Why can’t I book my own travel?

Why would you want to if we’ll do it for you? Seriously: It’ll go more smoothly for everyone involved if we handle all bookings. Relax and enjoy!

Will there be guidelines to follow for expenses and traveling?

Yes! You can find all those guidelines on Pulse here.

What do I pay for?

Nothing. We’ll have dinner/drinks at the Wednesday welcome reception and cover all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) on Thursday, assuming you attend the events.

Out-of-towners: If you need to expense a few meals when you’re traveling, that’s okay! But please note, if there’s a planned Intouch meal and you decide to go elsewhere, that meal is on you.

What type of transportation will we have?

  • If you’re traveling to Kansas City, we’ll have buses picking up groups from the airport.

  • All the downtown venues are walkable from the two hotels where we’ve booked rooms.

  • For KC employees, we’ll have a parking garage and Uber credits. You’ll get that information closer to the event.

What if I live in Kansas City, and I want to stay downtown after the event?

We will not be providing hotel rooms for Kansas City employees.

But, if you’d like to book your own room, there are a lot of amazing hotel options in the downtown area. These are located within walking distance to KC Live! Block:

What’s the food situation?

Wednesday night: At the welcome reception, we’ll have a wide variety of heavy appetizers, as well as food stations and yummy desserts.

Thursday day: At the meeting, we’ll have many breakfast options in the morning, snacks throughout the day, and Jack Stack for lunch.

Thursday night: There’ll be a wide variety of food and desserts from different restaurants in the KC Live! Block including Guy Fieri’s Dive & Taco Bar, McFaddens, and more!

*All meals will have gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Is alcohol provided?

You’ll get drink tickets at the welcome reception on Wednesday when you arrive, and there’ll be an open bar Thursday night at the KC Live! Block. Please drink responsibly.

What’s the entertainment?

Shhhh. It’s a secret. But rest assured it’s something awesome!

This event is for Intouch employees only. We want to celebrate as ONE Intouch, so your plus-one will have to sit this one out.

Can I bring a guest to this event?

What if I don’t know if I can attend
before the RSVP cutoff?

Out-of-towners: RSVP now, and just tell us later if plans change. If we don’t have your RSVP by Friday, May 31, we won’t have enough time to get you a flight/hotel room.

KC employees: Same goes for you. Please RSVP by Friday, May 31. If you don’t RSVP, we won’t be able to accommodate you at the event. That would be lame.

What if my RSVP information changes before the event?

If you need to make changes to your RSVP,
reach out to Emily Jackson.

What’s the dress code?

We suggest clothes that are cool and easy to move in, plus comfortable shoes or sneakers. Keep it casual, but appropriate! Sunglasses would also be a good idea if it’s a sunny day.

What should I bring?

Bring your laptop and any other work-related items you need for the pop-up work space. At KC Live! Block, we’ll have an area to securely store your stuff.
